Gem Hass Avocado is a modern avocado variety developed as an improvement over the famous Hass Avocado, offering excellent fruit quality, higher yield, and better tree performance. Gem Hass avocados are medium-sized with a uniform, oval to slightly pear-shaped form. The skin is thick, pebbly, and dark green, turning darker (almost blackish) as it ripens, similar to Hass. The fruit has an attractive appearance and good shelf life.
